History
Energotest is a modern and well organized engineering company, belonging to ELEKTROBUDOWA S.A. Group. Primary advantage of the company is a team of distinguished specialists, over 75% of our staff possess university degrees. Many of them have managed or co-managed: design, completion, assembly supervision, post-assembly tests, start-up of devices and electrical power engineering systems, practically in all newly erected or modernized power plants, combined heat and power plants, substations and industrial plants in Poland and abroad.
Upon implementation of these projects we cooperate with the best Polish companies operating in electrical power engineering market, as well as with many foreign companies, including: ABB, Alstom, Babcock, General Electric, Siemens, Schneider, Foster Wheeler, Emerson – Westinghouse Electric Poland, Lurgi Lentijes. Basing on extensive knowledge and experience, Energotest specialists have prepared and implemented many of innovative designs, well appreciated by our Customers.
Our specialists participate actively in integration and exchange of industry-specific ideas, organizing annual engineering seminars, of good reputation among plant and industrial electric power specialists; publishing industry press articles and presenting papers on seminars and conferences.
Crucial dates in the company’s history
1991-1992
Establishment of two companies offering engineering services in the field of electric power engineering, especially complex execution of protection and synchronization systems in power generation industry:
- Energotest-Energopomiar Sp. z o.o. company of electrical power engineering services seated in Gliwice (base market: conventional power station and combined heat and power plant);
- "Energoefekt" Sp. z o.o. Southern Plant of Automatics and Protections seated in Ruda Śląska (base market: water power engineering)
1999
Based on own employees and staff of transformed ZRE Gdańsk, Energotest-Energopomiar established Energotest-Gdańsk company, dealing with excitation systems of generators and engines, transformers voltage controllers, frequency converters, thyristor cascades and industrial automatics systems.
2008
Change of shareholders of PUE “Energotest-Energopomiar” Sp. z o.o. and PZAiZ “Energoefekt” Sp. z o.o. companies; from now on, ELEKTROBUDOWA S.A. is the sole shareholder in both companies.

Energotest-Gdańsk Sp. z o.o. has been incorporated into Energotest-Energopomiar, Energotest-Gdańsk Sp. z o.o. company ceased its activity as an separate entity, all of its liabilities and receivables being transferred onto Energotest-Energopomiar.

District Court in Gliwice issues a decision on merger of companies PUE “Energotest-Energopomiar” Sp. z o.o. and Southern Plant of Automatics and Protection “Energoefekt” Sp. z o.o., pursuant to Art. 492 pt. 1, through takeover and transfer of all assets of Southern Plant of Automatics and Protections "Energoefekt" Sp. z o.o. to PUE "Energotest-Energopomiar" Sp. z o.o.

By virtue of the resolution of District Court in Gliwice the name of the company PUE Energotest-Energopomiar Sp. z o.o. has been changed. New name of the company: Energotest Sp. z o.o. The change of company’s name was a completion of transformation processes of the previous year, consolidation of three entities and extension of the company’s business.
