A microprocessor voltage regulator of ETT-02-type tapped transformer is designed for an automatic voltage regulation of the lower side or tap (ratio) number of the transformer. It can cooperate with all transformers that allow to change the taps under load. The equipment of the regulator with a double set of measuring current and voltage transformers allows to use the regulator to stabilise a selected parameter (voltage or tap number) of two-winding, two-winding two-exit and three-winding transformers. In order to protect against switching after achieving limit values the regulator is equipped with the following: overvoltage lock, undervoltage lock, overcurrent lock and the lock operating after achieving an extreme tap.

Structure

The ETT-02 regulator is located in a sectional, three-component Bopla Combi Card II housing ensuring a free access to all subassemblies. It is also produced as a standard 19-inch EURO cassette for flush-mounting or in cabinets. The use of separable external connectors arranged in functional groups facilitates a start-up and service works.

The regulator is developed as a three-plate structure with functionally selected units:

  • power supply unit, current transformers, voltage transformers and output relays,
  • electronic regulation system unit,
  • setting entering and parameter exposition system unit.
